Welcome to our Friday, July 22nd newsletter!
Our mission here at Asbury is to share the hope of Christ with the people of Northern Kentucky and beyond. We hope this Friday newsletter can help inform you of all the ways you can join us in sharing that hope to the people of our community.

Friends,
No matter who we are or what we believe, it seems that we all take a lot of pleasure in getting offended at what other people do and say. We love a good scandal! This Sunday we are going to be looking at the very scandalous story of Hosea and Gomer, a story of the unfaithfulness of humanity and the abiding faithfulness of God. I've been challenged by the prophets we have heard from so far, but I'm excited to share with you all how God's grace is actually the most offensive (and most hopeful!) thing that there is. We're going to learn that as God shocks us with his grace, we are meant to shock the world by ours. I hope to see you Sunday in worship!
Peace in Christ,
Cambron Wright

Fellowship Time
The Fellowship Committee is in vital need of volunteers to host Fellowship (Donut) Time. The sign-up calendar is located to the left of the serving window in the Fellowship Hall. This is a beautiful way to connect with our church family and friends. If you need direction on the “how to” of serving, please contact Janelle Clinkenbeard at 859.653.6720.

In an effort to keep our prayer list current, we will put a prayer request on this list for four weeks, after which time it will be removed. If you would like a prayer request placed on the list again after the four-week period, contact the church office at 859-441-1466 or asburyum@gmail.com and we will be glad to do so.
