Welcome to our
Friday, June 2nd newsletter!
Our mission here at Asbury is to share the hope of Christ with the people of Northern Kentucky and beyond. We hope this Friday newsletter can help inform you of all the ways you can join us in sharing that hope to the people of our community.

Friends,
I encourage you to be in prayer this weekend as many pastors and lay people gather at the Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in Owensboro, KY. The conference will begin this Sunday, and of course it will be a historic conference, where many congregations (including ours) will be formally voted upon to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church. I ask that you would be in prayer for all the congregations leaving and staying, that we might be able to part ways in blessing and peace. For everyone involved, this is a process of grief, newness, challenge, and opportunity, and God will be working through all of those things. My prayer, and I hope yours, is that God might be able to bring about his glory even through what has been a difficult season.
Peace in Christ,
Pastor Cambron

Kids are naturally curious, and when you’re curious about who God is it’s easy to grow your relationship with Jesus. This year at Vacation Bible School, we’re going to engage kids’ imaginations! Kids will not only get curious about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics — but also about the God who created it all! We’re going to have fun, we’re going to learn about Jesus. For kids ages 4 thru those entering 5th grade in the fall. Feel free to reach out to Alyssa with any questions!
Monday, June 19th – Thursday, June 22nd
